Three persons were killed and six others injured in an accident involving a hay-laden tractor trolley, a roadways bus and a truck on Agra-Jaipur highway near Fatehpur Sikri in Agra, police said on Thursday.
The accident took place on Wednesday night when a tractor trolley carrying hay was hit by a truck coming from Bharatpur.
Tractor-trolley then rammed into a stationary roadways bus at Sikri turn, with passengers alighting from it, before turning turtle and trapping those present near the bus, they said.
Three persons, including two labourers, died by the time they were pulled out while the six persons who got injured were rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment, police said, adding driver of the roadways bus Nand Kumar has been arrested for negligent parking.
