Court says they committed a demonic act, don't deserve mercy.
Surat: Three men accused of raping a 17-year-old schoolgirl in June 2009 were on Friday sentenced to life by a city court.
The three men forced the girl into a car as she was on way to a tuition class and raped her before dumping her on the outskirts of the city on June 12, 2009.
Shahid Saiyed, 22, Tariq Saiyed, 21, and Abu Bakr, 33 were arrested on the same day within hours of the incident. Shahid and Tariq are sons of police officials.
The court said they didn’t deserve mercy because they had committed a demonic act.
