Accused In murder case acquitted

CHENNAI: All the eight accused, including six advocates, in the lawyer Rajnikant murder case were acquitted of the murder charges.The prosecution had not proved the guilt of the accused beyondreasonable doubt and they were acquitted giving them the benefit ofdoubt, W Sathasivam, VII Additional Judge, City Civil Court, saidon Tuesday.Rajnikant was murdered on the Egmore Metropolitan Magistrate Courtpremises on February 21, 2008.
