The Ayodhya Ram Mandir Consecration Ceremony is scheduled for January 22, 2024, and is expected to draw the attendance of politicians, celebrities, and dignitaries across the country. Meanwhile, an interview with the late saint Devraha Baba has resurfaced on social media, where he accurately predicted the construction of the Ram Mandir.
During the interview with Aaj Tak, the journalist inquired about the various efforts and obstacles surrounding the construction of the Ram Janmabhoomi Temple. The journalist noted that both Rajiv Gandhi and members of the Vishva Hindu Parishad sought the saint’s counsel. Responding to the question of who was right or wrong in their actions, Devraha Baba offered a nuanced perspective. He stated that in the context of Ram Janmabhoomi, both Rajiv Gandhi’s principles and the principles of others were commendable, emphasising that everyone’s stance was righteous.
When the journalist pointed out that Vishva Hindu Parishad intended to build the temple, but Rajiv Gandhi intervened, Devraha Baba clarified that the construction would proceed within the framework of the law. He asserted that Rajiv Gandhi did not obstruct the process, emphasising that the temple would be built by legal regulations.
In a booklet detailing the journey of the Ram Janmabhoomi movement, Devraha Baba’s role is mentioned. The booklet provides insights into the lives of individuals directly or indirectly associated with the movement. The invitation, comprising the programme card and a booklet, introduces Pujya Devraha Baba as a stalwart of the Ramanuja tradition, brimming with divine and spiritual prowess. The booklet specifically mentions his presence at the Prayag Mahakumbh in 1989.
