AIYF activists barge into Ganesh Kumars office

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Tension prevailed at the Secretariat here on Friday after four AIYF activists barged into Minister for Forest KB Ganesh Kumar’s office and created pandemonium. They entered the Minister’s office and shouted out slogans against the Minister in protest against his act of showering slander on the opposition leader V S Achuthanandan the previous day at Pathanapuram.They were arrested and removed by the Contonment Police, who slapped a case against them. The police said that the four AIYF activists, who were gentle in manners when they entered the Secretariat campus did not evoke any suspicion of the security guards.The arrested persons were produced before the court and remanded to judicial custody.
