The promos certainly remind of 'Mississippi Burning'
May be its too early to jump into conclusions but the first thing that comes to the mind when you see the promo of Aakrosh is that it has some visual resemblance to Hollywood film Mississippi Burning (1988).
Aakhrosh stars Ajay Devgn and Akshaye Khanna playing the role of CBI officers investigating about honour killing in a village. Mississippi Burning stars Gene Hackman and Willem Dafoe who play the role of FBI officers investigating the disappearance of some civil rights activists.
The promo of Priyadarshan director Aakhrosh is definitely looking promising with Ajay Devgn and Akshaye Khanna share screen after many years.
Ajay has for sure the same intensity as Gene Hackman as an actor.
