Bangalore police arrests resort owner for 'nude party' in 2009
The police got CDs and pictures related to the alleged nude dance party only two days ago from Karnataka Rakshana Vedike activists.

Bangalore: Bangalore rural police has arrested the owner of resort in connection with a nude dance party allegedly held at the resort some time back. Three police teams have been constituted to arrest other people involved in the party.

Though the incident allegedly took place on December 2, 2009 but the police got CDs and pictures related to the nude dance party only two days ago from Karnataka Rakshana Vedike activists. The activists claimed that such parties are regularly held at the resorts. After analysing the CDs and photos the police arrested resort owner Sampangi Ramaiah and his son.

However, Ramaiah claims that he was not at the resort when the party was organized. He said that the resort had been booked for a few days by some people from Andhra Pradesh.

He added that almost one year after the party some people showed him the photos and started to blackmail him. He also said that he had complained to the police but no action was taken.

Bangalore Rural SP D Prakash admitted that Ramaiah had lodged a copmplaint and the local police failed to act. He said that the concerned police officer has been placed under suspension.
