BJP takes dig on AAP, says Kejriwal and colleagues are 'unguided missiles'

Against the backdrop of Arvind Kejriwal's protest in New Delhi, BJP on Wednesday equated the Delhi Chief Minister and his party colleagues with "unguided missiles" and said they should behave responsibly as they are bound by the Constitution.

The party also ridiculed Congress for its outside support to the Aam Aadmi Party government.

"Leaders of AAP should realise they cannot remain unguided missiles anymore as they are now bound by the Constitution. Still, they behave like unguided missiles," BJP leader Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi told reporters.

His comments came against the backdrop of the two-day sit-in staged by Kejriwal along with his ministerial colleagues near Parliament to press the central government to suspend some police officials.

Kejriwal ended the dharna on Tuesday after two police officials were sent on leave.

Attacking the Chief Minister and his colleagues, Naqvi said they are more interested in street protests than doing something concrete to give relief to the people.

"They are dream merchants. They just sell dreams," he added.

Targetting Congress for its outside support to the AAP government, the BJP leader said it has been "exposed" along with Kejriwal.

On Congress' threat that it would review its support to the AAP government, Naqvi said "Congress is a history-sheeter in use-and-throw."

On the mysterious death of union minister Shashi Tharoor's wife Sunanda, Naqvi said "it is a serious case and law should take its course without any interference."
