Bus driver booked for drunk driving

KOCHI: A KSRTC bus driver was arrested by Edappally Traffic officials for driving in an  inebriated condition from Kundannoor on Monday. The arrested identified as Mani, 54, is a native of Thodupuzha. He was driving the KSRTC bus plying in the Aluva-Cherthala route. According to police, the arrest was made after  the passengers in the bus complained of rash driving.  The bus was intercepted at Kundannoor and after detail check it was cleared that the driver was under the influence of alcohol.
