Businessman immolates himself

HYDERABAD: A businessman immolated himself allegedly after being threatened by his friends over entering into a relationship with a woman.The deceased, G Vaikuntam (33), used to sell vegetables with his friend Sekhar Goud. Police said that Vaikuntam and Sekhar were into a relationship with the same woman without each other’s knowledge.When Sekhar came to know about this, he along with his friend Khaja Miyan, had threatened him of dire consequences if he did not end the relationship.A disturbed Vaikuntam went to his home on Monday, doused in petrol and set himself ablaze. Vaikuntam succumbed to injuries.
