THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: KPCC president Ramesh Chennithala on Thursday said that the public sector units in the state were running at a loss due to mismanagement. This could be overcome by including the representatives of workers in the governing bodies of PSUs.   He was inaugurating the state-level leadership training camp organised by the INTUC-affiliated State Public Sector Employees’ Federation  here on Thursday.   Chennithala said that the Central and State Governments have a more active attitude towards the public sector units compared to the the previous LDF government, which had taken a indifferent attitude.   He said that destruction of public property should be regarded as major crime and that strict action should be taken against those who indulge in these acts.   INTUC state president R Chandrasekharan and UDF convener P P Thankachan also attended.
