New Delhi: In an unfortunate incident, a three-month-old infant died after falling from his mother’s arms.
According to the mother, she and the father were fighting over dowry when her husband turned violent.
While trying to save herself, the baby fell from her arms.
But the father, Dr Atul Raturi, claims his wife was drunk and was responsible for the baby's death.
The couple lives in a posh Gurgaon colony.
Police have registered a case of death due to negligence.
“The babe was three months old. He died in a brawl between the parents,” confirmed SHO Ashok Yadav.
Dr Raturi is in police custody for 14 days.
