New Delhi: The Delhi police arrested eight members out of twelve in connection to the Chandigarh Tanishq showroom robbery case. The arrests came just two days after the CCTV footage of the robbery was made public.
Police has even recovered 1000 mobile phones from the accused. According to the police all the accused hailed from various parts of Uttar Pradesh who moved to Delhi immediately after committing the robbery.
The daring robbery came to light on January 14 when 12 robbers disguised as policemen broke into the Tanishq showroom in the Manimajra area of Chandigarh, decamping with jewellery worth Rs 12 crore.
