New Delhi: An obese Beijing bus conductor has given birth to a 6.250 kg baby, China's heaviest, a report said on Tuesday. Zhao Xiaoju, 27, gave birth to a 6.250 kg baby in a hospital in Beijing.
The previous heaviest baby in China was born in Xuzhou, Jiangsu Province in east China on February 3 last year and weighted 6.150 kg.

One out of three men and one out of eight boys in Chinese urban areas are obese, a recent survey on Chinese physical health reveals.
The obesity rate and overweight rate of Chinese male adults are up 1.7 per cent compared with 2000, the survey found.
The obesity rate tends to rise with age and those aged 40 to 44 have the highest rate of 11.7 per cent. The overweight rate among Chinese urban teenagers is 13.25 per cent for boys and 8.72 per cent for girls.
The survey was carried out among 245,035 Chinese people aged 3 to 69 in 31 provinces, autonomous regions and municipalities.
Some experts believe poor public awareness of the need for physical exercise and the dangers of obesity are obstacles to improving youngsters' health.
