Civic workers seek sops

BANGALORE: The BBMP Pourakarmikara Kriya Samiti has demanded that contract system should be removed while appointing BBMP workers. Urging fulfilment of their demands, the workers requested for a hike in salary.KHN Simha, former Mayor, said, “The unfair contract system has to be removed and PF should be provided to the workers personally.” Members of the organisation will stage a protest from BBMP office to Town Hall on Tuesday.
