CM calls upon Africa to invest in AP

HYDERABAD: Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Wednesday called upon the visiting businessmen from Africa to explore opportunities in the field of higher education in the state, particularly in Hyderabad.Speaking at the inaugural of 'India-Africa business partnership summit' at HICC here, the chief minister referred to Hyderabad as one of the most preferred destinations for investment and that the state government has been providing various incentives to attract more investments into the state.There was a vast scope to increase bilateral cooperation between India and the African countries.Many investors from India particularly from Andhra Pradesh have invested in horticulture and floriculture sectors in a big way in African countries."There is a lot of scope for agriculture and business avenues in African countries which are developing.There is a lot of goodwill for Indian entrepreneurs in Africa because of our honesty and straight forwardness.Hyd is also going to host the global partnership summit next year where around 1,500 delegates from across the globe will attend,'' he noted.
