KOCHI: A couple was killed in a road accident near the Needhi store in Kakkanad on Thursday. The couple was travelling on the Seaport-Airport Road in an Activa when Rafael, 60, tried to overtake the container lorry that was travelling ahead of them and the car skidded.Rafael and his wife Elsa were immediately taken to hospital, but were declared brought dead.
