BANGALORE: Karnataka High Court has asked the government to submit details of progress made in building residential apartment for the judges and providing infrastructure to the courts.
The HC directed the chief secretary to file an affidavit in this regard. In a suo moto case, the HC had directed the state government to provide these facilities to the judiciary. When the case came up for hearing, the government submitted the steps it had taken to follow the court's order.

The division bench comprising Chief Justice J S Khehar and Justice H G Ramesh directed the chief secretary to file the affidavit of the progress made in this matter and adjourned the case to July 24.
