New Delhi: Yash Raj Film's latest 'Dhoom 3' has created a record of sorts by earning Rs 107.61 crore in its opening weekend.
The Aamir Khan starrer earned around Rs 33 crore on the opening day exclusively through its Hindi version. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh tweeted on Monday morning that the the Hindi film had alone grossed Rs 100.76 crore while its Tamil and Telugu version earned Rs 6.85 crores in its opening weekend.
Dhoom 3' has become the biggest non-holiday opener in Bollywood till date, a record which was previously with 'Krrish 3'.
'Chennai Express' earlier held the record of biggest holiday opener as it was released on Eid. It had garnered rs 33.12 crore on the opening day.
