VELLORE: Cops attached to the Directorate of Vigilance and Anti-Corruption (DVAC) conducted raids at the houses of three veterinary doctors and a revenue official in three locations Arcot, Tirupattur and Sholinghur in the Vellore district on Friday, in connection with irregularities in the TNPSC.The search is said to have been conducted at the houses of the officials, who were selected in the examination conducted by the Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission recently. In Tirupattur, the cops conducted raid at the residence of a revenue inspector of Krishnagiri district, Prathap. The search was conducted at his house at the Jayapuram Housing Board in Tirupattur. In Arcot, the search began at around 7 am at the houses of two woman veterinary doctors - Dr Padma, who resides at the Arcot Housing Board, and Sudha who resides at Nafeeza Nagar in Arcot. The team of seven cops was led by DSP Balasubramanian and Inspector Palani. It is believed that the cops had identified some important documents, which were later seized.Another team led by Vellore DVAC Inspector Rajnikanth arrived at the residence of the veterinary doctor, Dr Prabhu’s house located at Walajah Road in Sholinghur at around 8.30 am. The search went on till 3 pm, and it is said that the cops have seized some important documents and files. Dr Prabhu is at present working as a veterinary doctor at a Co-operative Society in Annoor in Tirupur district.
