Ear studs back after 14 years

CHENNAI:  Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Wednesday said she had given up her vow not to wear any jewels, following persistent requests from her party cadre.“I have not been wearing any jewel after 1997. But my party cadre did not like this and have been requesting me to wear jewels, stating that it is very sad to see me without any jewel”, she said, and added that they met her and requested her to reverse her decision and threatened self-immolation, if she failed to wear jewels.
