FIH concerned about Hockey World Cup in India

New Delhi: International Hockey Federation President Leandro Negre is visiting India to look at preparations for the 2010 Hockey World Cup. In an exclusive chat with CNN-IBN admitted that there are many concerns which need to be addressed.

"The World Cup and all the issues regarding Indian hockey. We are very much concerned about the tournament in India," said Negre

The FIH is also worried about Pakistan. Even if Pakistan qualify for the tournament, their participation is not guaranteed after the freeze in Indo-Pak relations due to the 26/11 Mumbai attacks
