BANGALORE: Employees of Ness Technologies planted 200 trees at Chintamani in association with Trees for Free on Monday. This as part of the tree plantation drive that is organised by Ness Technologies every year aligned with their global CSR initiatives.The 200 fruit trees planted by the employees this year will be tended to by neighbouring farmers.This time the tree plantation initiative has also been organised in view of helping farmers, as these fruit bearing trees will also serve as a source of income for them. Last year Ness employees planted neem saplings with the spirit of giving and the 100 saplings found their home in the Rajiv Gandhi Institute for Chest Disease campus.Ness Technologies will continue their green initiatives through the month, with many more activities such as: Art out of trash competition: The competition will see employees of Ness using their imagination and letting the creative juices flow to make the art out of trash. The initiative will give Ness employees an opportunity to innovate eco-friendly to reuse materials.Free emission testing: Ness will provide their employees with free emission testing facilities within campus to ensure that they are responsible towards the environment.
