Giving children the gift of health

BANGALORE: Ness Technologies, a global provider of IT and business services and solutions, recently held a medical camp for the children of Doddabele Government School. As part of this camp, typhoid vaccination was administered to children studying in classes between fourth and seventh. Typhoid being one of the diseases responsible for a large number of deaths in rural areas, this is an attempt by Ness Technologies to give them the gift of health.There was also a general health check-up held for all the children in the school. The initiative is as part of an attempt by employees of Ness Technologies to help in giving the children an opportunity for healthy living. Doddabele government school was adopted by Ness Technologies in April 2010. These initiatives are organized by the Ness CSR Team as an attempt towards driving literacy and promoting better health facilities thereby making a difference to the community. They have been working towards creating a better learning environment and contributing to the education of these children.
