Barcelona: Lotus extended their strong pre-season run with Romain Grosjean quickest in Formula One (F1) testing for the second consecutive session on Friday.
Grosjean guided the former Renault car around the Catalunya Circuit in 1 minute, 22.614 seconds, with the Frenchman's lap at the close leaving him half a second faster than Toro Rosso's Jean-Eric Vergne.
Defending F1 champion Sebastian Vettel was third for Red Bull ahead of Fernando Alonso of Ferrari and Heikki Kovalainen of Caterham.
Kimi Raikkonen takes the wheel for Lotus on Saturday after the team missed last week's penultimate test due to a chassis problem.
