Hathaway to star in 'The Dark Knight Rises'

New York: Actress Anne Hathaway has been signed on for director Christopher Nolan's sequel to the The Dark Knight.

Hathaway will play 'Catwoman' in the film that also stars Christian Bale, who is reprising his character of 'Batman' in The Dark Knight Rises, reports people.com.

"I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story," said director Christopher Nolan.
