Hyderabad: The Global Entrepreneurship Summit 2017 in Hyderabad, from November 28-30, will host top innovators, entrepreneurs, and business leaders from across the world.
All eyes will be on Ivanka Trump, daughter and advisor to US President Donald Trump. She is visiting India for the first time.
She will be leading a high-powered American delegation of officials, women entrepreneurs and businessmen to the Summit.
This year's Summit's theme is "Women First, Prosperity for All", where focus would be on supporting women entrepreneurs and creating an environment that empowers innovators, particularly women, to take their ideas to the next level.
The theme is especially dear to Ivanka, who has dedicated her career to promote women in business and work place.
Ivanka will stay in Hyderabad for two days on November 28 and 29 and participate in two sessions.
At the inaugural plenary session on November 28, Ivanka will deliver the key note address which is called “Be the Change - Women's Entrepreneurial Leadership”. Apart from the Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the panel will feature successful entrepreneurs who are opening doors for women entrepreneurs in their countries and communities.
On November 29th, Ivanka would be part of the panel in first session which is "We Can Do It! Innovations in Workforce Development and Skills Training". The session will talk about boosting women's participation in the workforce as an important first step to accelerating economic growth. The speakers would discuss how increased access to skills training, education, and career counselling are powerful means to improve women's lives, the communities they represent, and their countries’ economic potential.
Each day at GES would consist of various breakout sessions, master class and workshops that will empower entrepreneurs to pitch their ideas, build partnerships, secure funding, and find their target customers to transform goods, services, and societies.
This year it will focus on Energy and Infrastructure, Healthcare and Life Sciences, Digital Economy and Financial Technology, and Media and Entertainment.
