KARIMNAGAR: Tension prevailed for sometime in Godavarikhani when a beautician threatened to jump down a water tank in the town on Sunday.Reshma, belonging to BN Reddy Colony in Hyderabad, alleged that one Kumara Swamy, belonging to Godavarikhani, has cheated her in the name of love.Reshma runs a beauty parlour in Hyderabad. According to sources, Reshma is having an affair with Swamy for the last two years and Swamy even agreed to marry her.But for reasons unknown, Swamy began maintaining distance with Reshma for the last two months.Reshma, along with her friend, Anusha, came to Godavarikhani this morning and climbed a water tank at Ashok Nagar in I Town police station limits.She threatened to jump down several times but finally got down after police pacified her.Meanwhile, her boyfriend, Kumara Swamy, escaped from Godavarikhani on knowing about Reshma’s protest.It is learnt that Reshma staged a similar protest in Hyderabad also in the past.
