K S Shetty and K Amarnath to head CII Puducherry

PUDUCHERRY: K S Shetty, vice president, Hindusthan National Glass and Industries Ltd, Puducherry and K Amarnath, vice president, Hotel Surguru, Puducherry, were elected as  chairman and vice chairman respectively of Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Puducherry State Council for 2012-13.K S Shetty  holds a B Tech(Mech) degree from Regional Engineering College, Surathkal, and has a vast industrial experience of around 30 years in the Glass Industry. He was the vice Chairman of CII Puducherry for the year 2011-12. He was the convenor of Membership Panel of CII Puducherry for last year and actively participated in various activities of the CII.K Amarnath, vice president,Hotel Surguru Pondicherry,is an engineering graduate with a masters degree from University of Maryland.  Amarnath served as a chairman of hospitality and healthcare subcommittee Pondicherry State Council for three years.
