SRIKAKULAM: Chief minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy on Wednesday asked the party MLAs supporting YSR Congress chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy to clear air about their loyalties. He warned them that unless they mend their ways, they will be shown the door soon.Addressing a review meeting of District Congress Committee here the chief minister, for the first time issued a stern warning to Jagan sympathisers. "Some Congress leaders nominated to several posts are supporting another party. If, they have courage, they should come out in the open and resign from the party,' he said.Stating that the party comes above any leader, Kiran Kumar said Congress has never depended on any leader. "We have enough workers and meritorious leaders to run the party. If the detractors leave the party, the party will emerge all the more clean and strong,' he said.Venting his ire against the leaders and activists who are continuing in the Congress without interest, he said they were tarnishing the image of the party. He called upon the party workers to unitedly work for strengthening Congress and developing the State.Taking a broadside at the media, the chief minister said a on section of media was depicting only the failure of of Congress ignoring majority of its achievements.He announced that the Congress would introduce identity cards for all its activists and fill up the nominated posts after selecting capable persons. Earlier, he laid foundation stones for AP Tourism hotel and TTD Kalayana Mandapam in Srikakulam town.
