Kiss of Love organiser attacks police, says did nothing to prevent attack

Thiruvananthpuram: Rahul Pasupalan, the organiser of the Kiss of Love protest said that though the police had information that people will try to attack the protesters, they did not take any precaution to stop it.

Pasupalan said "They had given us protection but did not do anything against those who openly said that they will attack us".

CPI (M) state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan has also criticized the police action through his Facebook page. He said that the police had tried to protect those who had come there to block the protestors. He wrote that their version that they did all this to protect the volunteers were amusing.
