Latin Archdiocese Synod from May 20

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The Synod of the Latin Archdiocese of Thiruvananthapuram will meet for five days from May 20. The Synod will open with a Pontifical Mass led by the Latin Archbishop of Thiruvananthapuram M Soosai Pakiam at the St Joseph’s Metropolitan Cathedral, Palayam, at 5 p.m. on May 20.At 7 p.m. on the same day, Kollam Bishop  Stanley Roman will inaugurate the Synod at the Animation Centre, Vellayambalam.In all, 105 members of the clergy and the laity will attend the Synod, which will deliberate upon issues including the future projects of the Church.
