In another instance of crime inside high-security Tihar jail in the national capital, one inmate has been killed inside the prison.

The deceased was reportedly was an accused in a dacoity and murder case. Reports said that the deceased was in barrack number 8 of Tihar jail.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital by jail authorities where he was declared brought dead.
This comes over a month after a woman lodged in Tihar jail allegedly tried to commit suicide by hanging herself inside the prison. She was, however, saved as an inmate alerted security guards on time.
