Mason run over by train

VELLORE: A 32-year-old mason, who  accidentally fell off a train, was run over by it on Saturday night at Walajapet Railway Station.The victim was identified as Arumugam of Neelagandarayapettai near Walajapet. He was returning from Chennai to Walajapet and tried to get down at Walajapet railway station before the train stopped but lost balance and fell onto the track and was run over by the train. Katpadi Railway Police booked a case. Arumugam’s body was taken to Government Hospital at Walajapet for postmortem.
