Missing youth found murdered

KADAPA: Munna, a 22-year-old youth from Sapthagiri Kalyana Mandapam area, who went missing since Saturday afternoon, was found murdered near Ashok Nagar on Kadapa-Tirupati Highway on Sunday.The face of the victim was smashed beyond recognition. Chinna Chowk police, who are investigating the case, said that on being alerted by the locals, they found the body and after establishing the identity, the youth’s  parents were informed.Police said Munna, who works in a medical agency, left the office on Saturday afternoon. In the evening, when Munna’s worried parents came to office, stating that their boy had not come home, a search was launched for the missing youth. Later in the night, a complaint was lodged with Chinna Chowk police. Police are to yet ascertain the reasons for the murder.
