Mumbai: The rains in Mumbai have not spared even the rich, famous and affluent. One person harassed by the water deluge is Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan.
Rain water has flooded the lawns of the Bachchan residence called "Prateeksha" in Juhu and the ground floor of his office "Janak" nextdoor. the level of the accumulated water outside Prateeksha is almost three feet in depth.
Even though the house is built at an elevated level, water has flooded the ground floor reception area. Staff members are shifting Bachchan's belongings to the upper floors.
Infact, Amitabh Bachchan has written about this incident on his blog. He wrote, "The road opposite (is) now a swimming pool, but the basement has a beach. As I prepare to move furniture and stuff from the ground to higher positions, mini-waves drift in from the road into the driveway and reach the first step into the house."
