New Delhi: After the critical-commercial success of 'Jolly LLB', Arshad Warsi has emerged as someone who is capable of carrying the burden of being the 'solo' hero. He is once again going to be seen in director Samir Tewari's 'Mr Joe B Carvalho', in which he plays a detective who finds it difficult to spot the right clues.
The trailers of the film suggest that it's going to be a mad-caper where detective Carvalho will be on a mission to stop Carlos's (Jaaved Jaaferi) destructive missions. Carvalho will be assisted by his equally incapable partner Shantipriya (Soha Ali Khan) in his endeavours.
Arshad has come a long way as an actor. From being a side hero to playing the lead man, he is constantly honing his skills. 'Mr Joe B Carvalho' falls under his comfort zone that is comedy.
The film is going to face tough competitors in the form of Hollywood films 'The Wolf of the Wall Street' and 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty'.
