My government did nothing illegal: S M Krishna

BANGALORE: “All the files are available, they can be checked. These are just baseless allegations,” said S M Krishna reacting to allegations of land denotification of 800 acres against the Congress government when he was the chief minister. Speaking to the press at a function here on Sunday, he asserted that there was nothing to hide or cover up.  “The state government is just making empty statements such as accusing the Centre of not helping it. The UPA, under Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, is providing all possible assistance to states,” said S M Krishna.While discussing if L K Advani’s Jan Chetna Yatra should come to Karnataka when many of the state BJP leaders are being investigated for massive corruption or are already in jail, Union Minister Krishna said, “ L K Advani himself must think about whether the Yatra should enter Karnataka.”
