New Delhi: Suspended Congress leader and former external affairs minister Natwar Singh has said that the Justice Pathak Inquiry Authority report is a "flawed document".
Natwar also questioned the exoneration of Congress party when the Volcker findings had named both him and the party as non-contractual beneficiaries in the Iraqi Oil-for-Food programme.
Making a personal explanation in the Rajya Sabha, Singh said "clearly Justice Pathak's conclusions dealing with the contract in which I was mentioned as non-contractual beneficiary and the contract in which the Congress party was mentioned as non-contractual beneficiary are at best questionable."
He said the Authority has not explained why he (Natwar) would ask for one (contract) in his name and another in the name of the Congress party.
The Congress party had issued a show cause notice asking him to explain why he should not be expelled from the party on the basis of the charges leveled against him by the Pathak Committee.
Natwar Singh has already said he will give a "considered reply" to the notice and that he will answer in great detail to all points raised by the party.
Also on Monday, Lok Sabha will discuss the Supreme Court's order on the Centre's law banning the demolition of illegal constructions.
The Supreme Court has stayed the Urban Development Ministry notification for de-sealing the premises of commercial establishments operating from residential areas in Delhi.
The Supreme Court order means that bulldozers will start rolling again to raze down 41,000 constructions in the city.
