Now, Janata Darshan at BBMP

BANGALORE: Soon, Mayor D Venkatesh Murthy will hold a ‘Janata Darshan’ to hear the grievances of citizens at Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) office every week.Speaking to reporters here on Thursday, the mayor said that this will be on the lines of meetings conducted by the Chief Minister at his home office Krishna. “My darshan will be once in a week at the Glass House in BBMP Central office premises. Our officials will be present and will try to solve issues on the spot,” he said.The mayor said that he is also planning to hold ‘Sammukha’, an interaction meeting with public at Constituency level. The first meeting will be held on May 26 at Basavanagudi Constituency at Vidya Peetha Circle at 11 am. Home and District Minister R Ashok, Basavanagudi MLA Ravi Subramanya, local councillors and officials will be present.
