Gold ornaments worth around Rs 4 lakh were stolen from the house of one Vijayan of Siddhankala, Aryancode, here. Police said that the theft occurred in the intervening night of Monday and Tuesday when the members of the house were asleep. The thieves entered the house by breaking the kitchen door.
