"This could be a part of the international drug cartel. This has been confirmed not only by the accused who were arrested but also we had a visit from the Chief of American drug enforcement administration who has confirmed Ephedrine from Avon Lifesciences factory in Solapur, was being diverted to the international cartel , headed by Vicky Goswami in Kenya," Singh said.

"The plan was to set up a factory in Mombasa probably, from where this drug was to be converted to meth and taken to international markets," he said.
