A pregnant woman was allegedly raped by a bus driver and conductor in Gurgaon.
Gurgaon: The spate of crime incidents continue unabated in the NCR. In a deplorable act in Gurgaon, a pregnant woman was allegedly raped by a bus driver and conductor on Friday.
The incident allegedly took place when the victim - the wife of a construction worker - had boarded a passenger bus from Bilaspur Chowk at NH-8 for Gurgaon on Friday afternoon.
While the bus driver Pradeep has been arrested, the conductor Krishan is absconding.
“I was returning from Rewari when two men raped me in a private bus near Rajiv Chowk,” the victim told the reporters. She has launched a complaint on January 14.
The police say they have registered an FIR and investigation is on in the case.
