BHUBANESWAR: The State Election Commission (SEC) has directed re-polling in highest number of 121 wards in Zilla Parishad (ZP) zone number 3 in Khurda district after the third-phase panchayat polls on Friday. Re-polling will be held in Brajamohanpur, Dhaulimunha, Narangarh, Orabarasingh, Golabaisasan, Godipada, Jankia, Nijigada Tapang and Kanpur gram panchayats (GPs) of the district on February 19. The SEC has also ordered re-poll in 11 wards of Ganjam district which include four in Khamarigam, one each in Turubudi and Ankuli GPs of Patrapur block, one ward each in Chandanpur GP in Beguniapada and Sanakodanda GP in Bhanjanagar block and three wards in Kudutei GP in Jagannathprasad block on February 19. Re-polling has also been ordered in 10 wards of Bagadia GP in Kujang block of Jagatsinghpur district. The re-polling will be held on February 19. Similarly, in Jajpur district, re-polling will be held in six wards of Jari, Bachhol, Aunri and Ranapur GPs in Binjharpur block on February 20. Two wards in Kurli and Hato Muniguda GPs in Bissam Katak block in Rayagada district will go to re-poll on February 19. Re-polling will also be held in three wards in Trilochanpur GP in Lanjigarh block of Kalahandi district on February 20. Polling in the three wards was stopped after suspected Maoists snatched away ballot papers and burnt them. In ward number 3 of Mahadevpalli GP in Binka block of Sonepur district, re-polling will be held for the post of sarpanch only on February 19
