Security system in HC Bench by month-end

CHENNAI: It is expected that the Madurai Bench of the Madras High Court also will have the security system in place by the end of this month.The first bench comprising Chief Justice MY Eqbal and Justice T S Sivagnanam expressed the expectation when a writ petition praying for a direction to implement the security system in Madurai High Court Bench also came up for further hearing today .Earlier, as directed by the bench on November 15, Advocate-General A Navaneethakrishnan visited the Madurai Bench and held discussions with the advocates and the police officials. He also submitted a report stating that all steps were being taken for the implementation of the security system in Madurai Bench. The bench adjourned the matter by four weeks and hoped that the security system shall be implemented there, by that time.
