We want to have a national association of anti-corruption agencies,” he told reporters here on the sidelines of eighth anniversary of Vigilance Study Circle here.“After the UN Convention against corruption, an international agency of anti-corruption was formed with 145 countries as members. India is an executive committee member,” he said.“Similarly, we must also form an Indian association of anti-corruption agencies.Sometimes some actions may have to be coordinated and done together and so we need to work together,” he said. Sri Kumar said regional conferences would be held on the issue and the formation of the national agency would be announced in New Delhi soon.
