VISAKHAPATNAM: Speaker N Manohar launched www.aplegislature.org, a website at a star hotel here on Wednesday in the presence of Minister for Transport, Botcha Satyanarayana, Union Minister of State for HRD, D Purandeswari and about 108 MLAs and MLCs. The threeday visit of firsttime elected MLAs and MLCs to tribals areas in the district concluded on Wednesday.
Speaking on the occasion, Speaker N Manohar said all MLAs can access latest information on six flagships schemes being implemented in the State through the website. Constituencywise weekly updates of NREGS, pensions, housing, ration cards, Rajiv Arogyasri and scholarships will be available on the website from February 1, he said.The current visit of legislators would lead to some meaningful discussions in the Assembly for the development of tribals, said Manohar.

President of Loksatta Party, N Jayaprakash Narayan said field visits can be helpful to examine the problems of people.
