Student debate on the Lok Pal Bill

CHENNAI: Nandini Voice For The Deprived, a Chennai based NGO is organising a debate competition for college students on ‘How to make Lok Pal Bill effective?’ The objective of the competition is to provide an opportunity to college students to give their views on the subject. The views expressed by the students would be forwarded to the Lok Sabha Speaker and Rajya Sabha Chairman for their consideration.College students in UG and PG can participate in the competition. They would be given six minutes each. They can speak either in English or Tamil.  The debate would take place at Chennai, Coimbatore, Tiruchy  and Madurai.  The competition would take place in August. Ten of the best performing students will be awarded.
