In a shocking turn of events in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, a family discovered a surgical blade among the ashes of a woman who tragically died during childbirth. The incident has sparked outrage and prompted swift action from local authorities. The woman, identified as Navneet Kaur, was admitted to JK Hospital in Mawana for delivery. However, she did not survive the surgery, and her family proceeded with her last rites in Rathaura Khurd village. During the cremation ceremony, as family members were collecting her ashes, they stumbled upon a surgical blade, which they allege was left inside her abdomen during the operation.

The discovery has raised serious concerns about medical negligence and the standards of healthcare at the hospital. Following the incident, the family immediately filed a complaint, leading to the suspension of the hospital’s license by the Chief Medical Officer of Meerut. An investigation committee has been established to thoroughly probe the matter. “We never expected such negligence from the doctors. We initially accepted it as fate, but finding the surgical blade has shaken us,” expressed a family member, demanding a thorough investigation into the incident.
