New Delhi: Suspended SAI coach Ramesh Malhotra rubbished all allegations of sexual harassment by Karnam Malleswari.
Speaking to CNN-IBN he said that all allegations against him were false and he did not want to give any clarifications on this. He said that the truth could be found out from the girls of the weightlifting team.
Malhotra said that if he was found guilty then he would be ready to face the consequences. He also said that if he was proved innocent then he wanted all those who have conspired against him to be punished.
Earlier the Indian Weightlifting Federation suspended Ramesh Malhotra after Sydney Olympic bronze medallist Karnam Malleswari alleged sexual harassment by him on junior lifters. Malleswari alleged that Malhotra had been doing so for more than a decade.
Malhotra was recommended by the IWF for the Dronacharya Award for the last two years.
